Though members of the troupe had been dancing together for some time, the name Saffron Tribe was adopted in February 2007 at Desert Carneval in Vienna. Saffron Tribe is engaged in American Tribal Style and also Tribal fusion style. They perform at festivals, parties, celebrations and other social events.
